Love The Trees
Dr. Marc Hafkin grew up on a Canadian tree farm owned by his grandfather. He learned everything he needed to know about farming trees and healing sick trees.
Dr. Marc I. Hafkin grew up in Toronto but spent the summers on his grandfather's farm. Marc loved farming, and when he graduated high-school, he moved to the farm full-time.
Hafkin Farm believes in the ethical farming of trees. We do not adhere to chemical use or forced growing. Growing trees is no different than food; health is the primary objective.
The Team at Hafkin Farm dedicates themselves to bettering the planet and is knowledgeable in all aspects of safe growth. They adhere to ethical farming, and we only cut when we believe the time is right and new development will prosper. Our clients are eco-minded organizations that follow a strict moral code regarding dimensional product use and sourcing.
Hafkin Farm came to fruition in 2013 when cousins Marc I and Marc J bought the land, which needed serious restoration. They removed the damaged trees and plotted out new growth. Proudly, each year has been better than the previous. Such results come from an amazing team.
In the summer, we sponsor ten teens to work on Hafkin Farm. They receive a one-thousand-dollar savings bond towards their college tuition.
